I was surprised to read a comment recently that there was really nothing new in “Deemer On Technical Analysis”.

Really?

How about the concept of the underlying trend, on pages 161-163?

And how about the idea of buying stocks that make new all-time highs, discussed on pages 198-199?

The book, to be sure, was written for the general investing public – but there are still a lot of new ideas (and old ideas that have been almost forgotten) in it, too.
