The Scene: A McDonald's in Western Oklahoma
The Background: I have been on the road for five weeks, and last night was the first time I couldn't get an Internet connection via my cell phone. There's a pretty big town 12 miles ahead of us, though, and I figuered there'd be a McDonalds there. Since all McDonald's are supposed to have WiFi available I figured I'd be ok.
Sure enough, there is a McDonald's in town. I go in to make sure they have WiFi; this is, after all, western Oklahoma.
Me: "Do you have WiFi?"
Western Oklahoma McDonald's Employee Behind Counter: "Is that for here or to go?"
