A friend took me, despite my protests, to a local pizza joint that had, well, a pretty bad reputation for its food.

I study the menu. "Today's Special Pizza: Large, $8.00; Small, $12.50".

"Why is that?", I ask the waitress.

"The small one doesn't make you as sick."
